RYANAIR IN PULA

The long awaited day has come ! After years of negotiations, great expectations, uncertainties and hindrance from the law, Ryanair ( Europe's largest low fares airline ) has finally arrived at Pula Airport.

31st of October, 2006, the luxurious Boeing 737 800 series aircraft capable of carrying up to 189 passengers , landed with 105 passengers on board from London-Stansted. This is the beginning of a 3 times per week services ( Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays ) providing an international route throughout the year and, hopefully, for many years to come.

This new Ryanair service from London-Stansted to Pula will provide a massive boost to tourism as more than 40,000 passengers are expected in the first year of operation – a large percentage of whom will be high spending British tourists. Starting today, all people living in the Istria region will be able to fly direct to the U.K. for fares costing from € 2.99 ( from € 18,94 incl. all taxes, fees and charges ).
